Wanted to try my hand at a look alike which is very difficult and a little frustrating at first, yet I find is a very good way to also learn the anatomy of the head better.
Some may recognize who it is, some may not. I leave it open to see if I was successful. As I work more on it, it will become more apparent.

Here is your average swat guy I made for a final last quarter in my background design and layout class. Pretty basic story concept which is, a UFO crashes in a city park much like NY's Central Park leading to police personnel being dispatched on scene. My partner and I created the entire scene needed to show this scenario, animated the cameras and rendered the beast! It just so happened I got paired up with the only other student in the class who knew Max better than Maya. His preference is environments and mine characters. Lucky huh? The final cinematic turned out pretty cool, I'll try to get it uploaded here.

Here is the final I turned in today for a concept art class this quarter, done digitally. Its based off an idea I developed called "Sleepless". Obviously, its based in Seattle and the story goes that a big corporation scientifically engineers the perfect coffee bean. Its a smashing success yet they are unaware of the long term affects and so people who continue to consume it turn into mindless, hyper-insane zombies. The coffee zombies gain control of all the hundreds of factories around the world becoming more crazy while at the same time, they develope a thirst for a most tasty blend of their blessed coffee mixed with human blood. Just a fun idea I thought might make an interesting game.

Wow, been a while since last post! Had a hellish last quarter, some tough classes. First portfolio developement course, website design, and 2D animation..Ahhhh! Glad its over, now I can hopefully work on some personal work and possibly enlist in the next Dominance War!! Can't believe its already starting again, crazy.
Anyways this one was actually done quite a while ago before the shiz hit the fan and was more of a test in finding new armor design techniques. As you can see, I basically masked the entire model with some funky line work and finally did a simple deformation inflate to punch in the quick suit design.
